People are always saying "network, network, network". But is it really what it’s cracked up to be?!? and is networking necessary for content creators? 🤔
Yep! 🤓🥲
To build a successful creator business, you should network with both creators and brands. I’ll tell you why!
Building relationships with brands, by attending events, is a great way to get noticed 👀 and get paid brand deals 💼 .
An event can be a conference, or just a free local event for professionals 🙋♀️. I recommend attending startup events, because they often cannot compete with big companies on social media ads and thus creators are a great alternative🌟 . Aeone is hosting a free creator meetup rooftop party on February 15, in Seattle, for 240 creators.
None can change the fact that people trust people they’ve met physically, more than strangers they’ve met on the internet. So, build those relationships friend!
Building relationships and collaborating with other creators can be fun, and a really great way to build awareness among like-minded audiences.
This will be mutually beneficial, because you can both gain new followers and increase content reach 🥳. So, pitch other creators in your area for collaborations.
You can start with creators in your niche, but we recommend creators not already in your niche because there is a higher chance their followers won’t already be following you 😉.
A great Example : @noelgoescrazzy 🤩 partners with creators in every country he visits, which helps him gain new viewers and followers in each country.

To take full control of your creator business, it’s important that you network and build relationships.
Go out there, take control of your community and your creator business.
You’ve got this!
